We are hosting our first IDream sessions on Friday the 24th of February 2017 at the Diepsloot Combined School, Johannesburg. Our guest speaker will be the Tol A$$ Mo (also styled as Tol Ass Mo and Toll Ass Mo; real name Mongezi Mahlangu) a South African comedian and television personality known for his appearances on numerous television series, including Mo Love on Vuzu, in which he stars with his wife Mome Nale. Our second speaker will be Mr. Samuel Bongani Thane, an upcoming entrepreneur and a Hospitality Guru with 15 years in the service industry, an astute Supply Chain Professional, Supply Chain Management (SCM) with SAPICS/APICS. Samuel is a member to Toastmasters International, he blends all this together in the power of spoken word. Through his presentations you are guaranteed a lasting impression for your audience. The purpose of the programme is to provide the learners with an intensive integrated approach to leadership and developing ‘built-to-last’-type skills. The Ibbamo Strategic Pillars will be applicable here, and include: Education, Social responsibility, Entrepreneurship and Leadership. The Ibbamo foundation inspires and empowers young learners between the ages of 14 and 18 years. It provides a sensible agenda for self-development that will increase their self-esteem and leadership capabilities, as well as enhance their capacity to achieve in whatever context they find themselves in. Ibbamo, which stands for Inspired By Barack And Michelle Obbama, is proud to share intellectually in this legacy. Dr. James Makamba founded the Ibbamo Foundation to assist underprivileged African Children attain quality education. The foundation also seeks through education to prepare young Africans for future leadership roles. Makamba is an entrepreneur with a diverse portfolio of interests covering telecommunications, broadcasting, retail, mining and consultancy. In addition we appeal to the public for the following essential items needed by the school: stationery packs, plastic file folders and computer mouse and keyboards.
